Responsibilities
- Manage daily field operations for commercial, industrial, and high-priority electrical installations
- Oversee and direct field personnel, including apprentices, journeymen, foremen, and subcontracted crews
- Implement production schedules, crew assignments, and task sequencing plans
- Act as the main on-site contact for project managers, general contractors, inspectors, and other trades
- Promote and uphold a company-wide commitment to safety as the top priority
- Lead daily safety huddles, conduct job hazard assessments, and perform regular site inspections
- Ensure adherence to OSHA standards, National Electrical Code, and applicable local regulations
- Identify potential hazards early and take corrective actions to reduce risk
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, specifications, and electrical diagrams
- Coordinate inspection timelines, material logistics, equipment placement, and trade partner activities
- Track project advancement relative to timelines and resolve field issues proactively
- Keep accurate daily logs, field records, and progress reports using designated digital tools
- Travel frequently to active construction sites across the country, including multi-day and extended stays
- Assist with project commissioning, initial phases, and high-demand periods as needed
- Adjust efficiently to new project environments, teams, and site-specific conditions
