Responsibilities
- Uphold established safety protocols and ensure adherence to company electrical safety standards.
- Manage the change control process for all active projects, identifying and evaluating scope changes and ensuring timely processing.
- Assist project leadership in monitoring project timelines, financial budgets, and milestone deliverables.
- Support procurement efforts, including material ordering, submittals, RFIs, and change order documentation.
- Keep project records accurate, up to date, and compliant with internal and external requirements.
- Perform regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance.
- Collaborate with field supervisors, subcontractors, vendors, and clients to maintain clear communication and resolve issues promptly.
- Contribute to the preparation of weekly status reports, progress updates, and project closeout documentation.
- Engage in pre-construction activities such as constructability reviews and schedule evaluations.
- Ensure all project work meets company standards and fulfills client expectations.
Nice to Have
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, electrical engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in construction or project engineering, with a strong preference for electrical contracting experience.
- Demonstrated organizational ability and strong attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and experienced with construction management software including Procore, Bluebeam, or Autodesk.
- Capable of reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and project specifications.
- Must be willing to travel frequently and remain on-site for extended durations as project needs dictate.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proven work ethic and a proactive attitude toward learning from seasoned professionals.
- OSHA 30-hour and CPR/First Aid certifications are advantageous.
- Fluency in both English and Spanish is a valuable asset.
