Join a purpose-driven organization dedicated to advancing autism care through clinical precision and ethical practice. As a Traveling Clinical Diagnostic Specialist, you will serve as an independent contractor responsible for conducting standardized autism and cognitive evaluations across various clinic locations nationwide.

Role Responsibilities

  • Administer and score autism diagnostic assessments using ADOS-2 across all applicable modules, following strict standardization protocols
  • Conduct cognitive evaluations using tools such as WISC-V, WPPSI-IV, WAIS-IV, K-BIT, and DP-4, tailored to patient age and developmental level
  • Perform brief caregiver interviews to gather relevant developmental and behavioral history prior to assessment
  • Prepare detailed, accurate documentation for inclusion in diagnostic reports, focusing on assessment findings
  • Upload completed materials promptly according to departmental timelines
  • Ensure all practices align with HIPAA regulations and maintain strict patient confidentiality
  • Coordinate with supervising psychologists and local clinic teams to support diagnostic consistency
  • Travel extensively—up to 90% of the time—to assigned sites across multiple states

Travel and Logistics

Travel is coordinated in advance and includes air transportation, lodging, meals, and ground transit via ride-share services—all fully covered. Destinations include New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Georgia, Virginia, Florida, Texas, Washington DC, Colorado, New Jersey, Philadelphia, and newly opened clinics as they become operational.

Required Qualifications

  • Licensure permitting independent administration of autism and cognitive assessments under psychologist supervision
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 90% of the time based on scheduling needs
  • Availability during weekdays and occasional weekends, based on mutual scheduling agreements
  • Experience with ADOS-2 and cognitive assessment instruments including WISC-V, WPPSI-IV, WAIS-IV, K-BIT, and DP-4
  • Strict adherence to HIPAA privacy and security standards

Work Environment

This is an onsite, travel-based role with no remote option. The schedule is planned ahead of time, though flexibility is required to meet patient and clinic demands. The ideal candidate values clinical rigor, ethical leadership, and data-informed care delivery.

The organization emphasizes compassion, clinical excellence, and operational precision. As a self-funded, founder-led practice, decisions are guided by patient outcomes and long-term impact. Specialists contribute directly to expanding access to high-quality diagnostic services in diverse communities.
