Role Overview
As a Surgical Onsite Specialist, you will deliver hands-on support directly within operating rooms across the Fort Myers and Naples, FL region. Your expertise ensures surgical technologies are effectively utilized, procedures run smoothly, and clinical teams are confident in product application. You’ll partner closely with account management to advance product implementation and support long-term customer success.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver real-time technical assistance during surgical procedures for designated Centers of Therapy
- Act as a primary point of contact for clinical teams during on-site cases
- Provide troubleshooting support and ensure optimal performance of devices and software
- Conduct training sessions for surgeons, residents, and OR staff on product use and best practices
- Support educational initiatives including Resident Labs, MedEd programs, and peer-led trainings
- Perform equipment audits, software updates, and inventory management
- Communicate customer feedback, opportunities, and concerns to the assigned Account Manager
- Assist with product trials, conversions, and adoption strategies
- Maintain accurate records of product utilization and customer interactions in Salesforce
- Help secure and expand business by driving engagement and procedural support
Qualifications
Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree and at least one year of relevant experience. Prior clinical exposure in an operating room environment is strongly preferred. Experience in business-to-business sales, medical device support, or hospital-based roles is advantageous. You should demonstrate strong communication abilities, technical aptitude, and a commitment to continuous learning.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, MS Teams, and Salesforce is required. Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license with a clean record and be able to travel up to 50% of the time, including occasional weekends or overnight stays.
Work Environment
This is an onsite role requiring residency within the Fort Myers–Naples territory. You will travel frequently between healthcare facilities in the region. While not based at a corporate office, you’ll remain closely connected to regional teams and leadership.
Compensation & Benefits
This position offers a base salary starting at $70,000, with potential adjustments based on experience and location. Additional components include incentive plans, an Employee Stock Purchase Plan, and eligibility for retirement supplements.
