Role Overview
As a Travel Experience Counselor I, you’ll begin your career in corporate travel support by guiding business clients through end-to-end travel planning. You’ll manage bookings for air, rail, road, and accommodations across domestic and international destinations, ensuring each journey aligns with company policies and regulatory standards. Working within a 24/7 operation, you’ll play a key role in delivering reliable, efficient service to individual travelers and groups alike.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise clients on travel options and coordinate complex itineraries tailored to their needs
- Use Global Distribution Systems such as Sabre, Apollo, Galileo, and Amadeus to book and modify reservations
- Proactively identify opportunities to enhance travel experiences and recommend additional services
- Maintain compliance with client-specific travel policies and regulatory requirements
- Respond to special requests using professional phone etiquette and problem-solving skills
- Collaborate with team members to share insights, provide feedback, and support mutual growth
- Remain adaptable to scheduling demands, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Qualifications
Successful candidates are detail-focused, service-driven, and committed to maintaining the confidentiality of traveler information. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with the ability to resolve issues independently or with supplier support. Teamwork and openness to coaching are key traits.
This position is based onsite at the Forum in Santa Ana. Remote work is not available.
Preferred Background
- Experience with GDS platforms such as Sabre, Amadeus, Apollo, or Galileo
- Familiarity with business or leisure travel operations, airline reservations, or related fields
