You will play a key role in refining language data used to train artificial intelligence systems. Your work will center on transcribing, annotating, and reviewing audio and text materials in Japanese, ensuring linguistic accuracy and cultural relevance. Each task requires precision, critical thinking, and a strong command of both Japanese and English.
What You’ll Do
- Transcribe and label audio or video content following specific project guidelines.
- Review datasets for linguistic quality, identifying inconsistencies or errors in transcription and annotation.
- Apply structured labeling methods to organize data for machine learning applications.
- Translate and interpret content where needed, capturing nuances in tone, dialect, and context.
- Provide feedback to improve data workflows and enhance overall project outcomes.
- Ensure all work meets accuracy benchmarks and aligns with technical requirements.
What We’re Looking For
- Fluency in reading and writing Japanese and English.
- Strong typing skills and comfort working with digital tools.
- High attention to detail and consistency in task execution.
- Reliable access to a personal computer and stable internet connection.
- Availability during IST hours, starting from 8 AM onward.
- Self-motivation and the ability to work independently on assigned tasks.
Preferred Background
- Experience in data annotation, quality assurance, or linguistic analysis.
- Familiarity with AI or machine learning data workflows.
- Formal certification in linguistics or related fields is a plus.
- Strong analytical reasoning and problem-solving abilities.
