Coordinate freight movements and support field operations from home as a Transportation Support Coordinator. This remote role connects drivers, dispatchers, and brokers to keep freight moving efficiently and on time. You’ll play a key part in monitoring schedules, resolving issues, and maintaining accurate records across the supply chain.
What You’ll Do
- Deliver timely updates to drivers, including pickup and delivery details, appointment times, and route changes
- Monitor estimated times of arrival, equipment availability, and driver hours-of-service compliance
- Assist drivers with roadside challenges, ensuring quick and professional resolutions
- Verify bills of lading and proof of delivery documents to prevent shipment errors
- Track load status and communicate real-time updates to brokers and shippers
- Estimate unloading and layover durations to prevent scheduling conflicts
- Log detention, layover, and TONU opportunities for billing and performance tracking
- Upload documents and maintain detailed, up-to-date notes in the transportation management system
- Send routine check calls and notify partners of delays or changes
- Build reliable working relationships with third-party contacts while upholding service standards
What We’re Looking For
Strong organizational abilities, clear communication skills, and the capacity to manage multiple priorities under time constraints. Experience with load boards or TMS platforms is helpful but not required—training is provided.
Work Environment
This is a fully remote position with flexible scheduling. You’ll use a transportation management system and load boards to coordinate freight across a national network. The role is well-suited for individuals aiming to grow into dispatching or operations management.
Compensation and Support
Weekly pay ranges from $865 to $1,195, with an equivalent annual range of $45,000 to $62,000. All necessary tools and onboarding resources are provided, including structured training to help you succeed in the logistics field.
