Culina Group is hiring a Transport Planner

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate shipments from various UK-based warehouses and production facilities through subcontracted transport providers
  • Organize daily vehicle operations for both on-site and off-site fleet movements
  • Respond to customer, carrier, and warehouse inquiries via phone, email, and fax
  • Collaborate with traffic management and administrative staff to uphold consistent service standards
  • Develop, update, and manage databases and spreadsheets for client reporting purposes
  • Identify operational issues and resolve arising concerns promptly
  • Assist the fleet and driver training units as needed
  • Conduct pre-shift and post-shift briefings for all driver assignments
  • Ensure clear, professional, and timely communication across internal and external channels
