Cognizant is hiring a Transition Manager to be an inspiring leader within our Program and Project Management community. In this key role, you will be responsible for designing transition solutions and leading the transition of multiservice, multigeo, and multivendor engagements, ensuring client stakeholder satisfaction throughout the process.
What You'll Do
- Manage transitions across multiple service lines and geographies as the single point owner.
- Manage all workstreams, including People Transfer, Process, Tools, and Organization Change Management.
- Ensure Transition-related clauses in contractual documents are measurable, attainable, and reportable.
- Own all activities planned and scheduled during the Transition phase.
- Collaborate daily with the client and internal stakeholders to drive defined transition outcomes.
- Proactively identify risks and propose mitigations to minimize impact on Transition KPIs.
- Track and report all Transition KPIs across cost, schedule, and quality.
- Prepare and present clear Transition status to senior stakeholders, effectively reporting and addressing risks and issues.
- Design transition solutions and build plans for sales pursuits or RFPs, presenting solutions to clients.
- Work closely with client stakeholders, SMEs, and Transition leads to ensure timely review and sign-off of deliverables.
- Work closely with delivery teams to ensure effective and successful cutover to steady state.
- Coordinate with other capabilities, such as process or people transition, to ensure workstreams are executed within agreed timelines.
- Own transition reporting, including weekly status and Steering Committee reports, for both internal and client audiences.
- Apply expertise in managing organizational-level changes across client and Cognizant organizations.
What We're Looking For
- In-depth understanding of all Knowledge Transition phases, activities, deliverables, and exit criteria.
- Experience across multiple industry domains.
- Experience managing transitions larger than 500 FTEs across Application support and Application development services.
- Experience designing transition solutions and making orals presentations to clients as part of sales pursuits and the RFP process.
- Certifications: PMP, SAFe, Prince2.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Infrastructure services transition.
