Transdev is looking for a Light Duty Technician (Diesel Mechanic) to maintain the safety and efficiency of our fleet. In this role, you will diagnose and repair diesel engines across various vehicles and equipment, ensuring longevity and compliance with standards.
What You'll Do
- Diagnose and repair commercial vehicles and equipment.
- Complete daily safety inspections and reworks while maintaining production standards.
- Diagnose and perform all phases of vehicle and equipment repair including brakes, engine tune-ups, suspensions, drive trains, and transmission clutches.
- Ensure work orders are completed properly and accurately.
- Maintain records of all maintenance work completed including parts and supplies used.
- Complete preventative maintenance (PMs), safety inspections, and annual maintenance inspections.
What We're Looking For
- 21 years of age or older.
- 2+ years of diesel or CNG repair employment experience or a combination of education and experience.
- Valid Commercial Driving License with passenger and airbrake endorsements or eligible to obtain.
- Mechanic’s tool set.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Subject to DOT drug testing.
- Eligible to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
- Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen.

- ASE certifications.
