Role Overview
As the Sr. Associate, EFA Management, you will play a key role in financial operations by analyzing accounting data, preparing consolidated financial reports, and ensuring compliance with internal controls and corporate policies. Based in Mexico City with a hybrid work model, this position collaborates closely with the Surgical Business Planning & Analysis team and supports financial decision-making across departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply accounting standards to review financial data and generate balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Verify transaction accuracy and ensure alignment with auditing guidelines and internal procedures
- Develop and maintain accounting systems that support proper financial recognition and reporting
- Prepare technical documentation for financial positions and support month-end closing processes
- Act as a liaison between the Surgical unit and finance teams, delivering performance reports and KPIs
- Support contract performance monitoring and coordinate corrective actions with business leadership
- Collaborate with customer service, logistics, and internal stakeholders to resolve operational discrepancies
- Work with Financial Reporting and Analysis to ensure correct revenue recognition practices
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, profitability analysis, and strategic planning initiatives
- Help refine management reporting processes and implement corporate financial policies locally
Qualifications
Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Administration, or a related field. Prior experience in accounts receivable, customer service, or similar roles is required. Proficiency in Excel is essential, and conversational English is necessary for daily collaboration.
