Join an evolving internship initiative designed for current engineering students seeking practical experience in a professional environment. This evergreen opportunity connects you with potential roles across multiple engineering domains, where you’ll engage in meaningful work that supports live projects and organizational goals.
What You’ll Do
- Support engineering tasks such as design, simulation, testing, or system implementation using industry-standard methods and software.
- Collaborate with experienced engineers to troubleshoot technical challenges and refine product or process performance.
- Collect and analyze data, develop models, run simulations, and maintain accurate technical documentation.
- Take part in team huddles, design evaluations, and progress discussions, learning how cross-functional teams operate.
- Help advance initiatives focused on improving quality, efficiency, safety, cost-effectiveness, or environmental impact.
- Summarize and present your technical work to team members and project stakeholders.
- Your specific role will depend on the team and project alignment, which may include areas like mechanical systems, electrical engineering, software development, controls, validation, manufacturing, or systems integration.
What We’re Looking For
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or a closely related technical discipline—such as Mechanical, Electrical, Software, Computer, Chemical, Industrial, Aerospace, or Systems Engineering.
- On track to graduate in 2027 or later, with consistent academic progress.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in English.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to collaborate effectively and express ideas clearly, both verbally and in writing.
- Proven interest in applying engineering principles to practical, real-world challenges.
Preferred Background
- Academic or project experience in areas like thermodynamics, power systems, control theory, embedded systems, CAD modeling, finite element analysis, programming (Python/MATLAB), or data processing.
- Practical involvement through lab work, design competitions, hackathons, maker projects, or prior co-op roles.
- Exposure to tools such as SolidWorks, Creo, CATIA, MATLAB/Simulink, Python, LabVIEW, PLCs, or version control with Git.
- A self-driven mindset, intellectual curiosity, precision in work, and openness to mastering new technologies.
Technical Environment
You may work with a range of industry-standard platforms and tools including CAD software (SolidWorks, Creo, CATIA), simulation environments (MATLAB, Simulink), programming languages (Python, C/C++), data acquisition systems (LabVIEW), industrial controls (PLCs), and collaboration tools like Git.
Work Location
This is an onsite role with no relocation support provided. Specific locations will be shared based on team placement.
