Transdev is seeking an experienced CDL Bus Driver to join our team in Salinas, CA. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for safe and comfortable passenger transportation, upholding the highest standards of professionalism and service.
What You'll Do
- Operate vehicles by following designated routes and schedules while adhering to all safety protocols and traffic regulations.
- Provide care and assistance to passengers, ensuring smooth boarding, comfortable travel, and timely disembarkation.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, promptly report maintenance issues, and maintain cleanliness and safety equipment readiness.
- Uphold company policies and procedures, including seat belt enforcement, emergency response preparedness, and compliance with all regulatory mandates.
- Perform other duties as required.
What We're Looking For
- You are 21 years or older.
- You possess a valid CDL Class B with Passenger Endorsement OR CDL Class C with Passenger Endorsement.
- You have a minimum of 3 years of driving experience (personal or professional).
- You demonstrate excellent communication and customer service skills.
- You are able to work shifts or flexible schedules as needed.
- You consent to and pass a DOT drug test and physical if applicable.
- You are eligible to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
- You successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen.
Benefits & Compensation
- Starting pay of $27.00 per hour (Union Collective Bargaining Agreement Pay Rate).
- 5 days of vacation per year after your first 90 days.
- Paid Sick Leave: 8 hours monthly for full-time employees and 5 hours monthly for part-time employees.
