Position Overview
The Training Support Center (TSC) Lead is responsible for managing daily operations across multiple client training locations. This role ensures the effective deployment, maintenance, and accountability of Training Aids, Devices, Simulators, and Simulations (TADSS), directly supporting military training readiness. The individual will supervise on-site personnel, coordinate with military units, and uphold compliance with Army regulations and safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise TSC team members and ensure accurate operation and upkeep of all training systems.
- Manage equipment lifecycle processes, including issue, return, inventory tracking, and condition reporting.
- Collaborate with Active, Reserve, and National Guard units to fulfill training support requirements.
- Maintain detailed records and reports to support operational status and readiness assessments.
- Ensure all activities align with current Army policies, safety standards, and procedural guidelines.
- Train and mentor staff to enhance performance, accountability, and technical proficiency.
- Perform additional duties as directed, including potential support during non-standard hours or temporary relocations.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in Training Support Center operations or a closely related field.
- Thorough understanding of Army TADSS and training management frameworks.
- Proven ability to lead small teams with consistent results in high-demand environments.
- Strong organizational and analytical capabilities, with attention to detail and problem-solving precision.
- Background in logistics and hands-on experience with training simulators and devices.
- Current or former service member of the U.S. Army or Army National Guard.
- Must be eligible to pass a background investigation, with potential for additional screenings during employment.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced, evolving environments.
- Capable of managing confidential data with discretion and professionalism.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior military service is highly desirable.
- Master Gunner certification or experience is a strong advantage.
Work Environment
This is an onsite position based at multiple client installations. The role may require flexible scheduling, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and occasional travel for operational or professional development needs. Work hours may extend beyond standard business times based on mission demands.
Compensation and Benefits
Hourly pay range: USD $24.80 – $27.69. Benefits include health and welfare coverage under the Service Contract Act, telemedicine access, dental and vision plans, Employee Assistance Program (EAP), company-provided Basic Life and AD&D insurance, and optional voluntary life and AD&D coverage.
