This role supports the development and delivery of training programs for clinical staff, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams using the organization's clinical information systems. The Training Specialist designs and updates curricula, lesson plans, and assessments, ensuring content remains current and effective for learners across different roles.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage training-related projects of varying scope, from planning through execution
- Deliver instructor-led and digital learning sessions tailored to user roles and certification requirements
- Develop and maintain eLearning modules that align with curriculum goals
- Update training materials, including exercises and evaluation tools, for assigned clinical applications
- Collaborate with IT, Clinical Informatics, and training teams to enhance program quality
- Support the configuration of training environments to reflect real-world workflows
- Assist in onboarding and credentialing new classroom trainers
- Ensure all training activities comply with privacy policies, including HIPAA and data security standards
Qualifications
Candidates must hold an Associate's degree in a health-related field or have equivalent experience, along with a valid driver’s license. Preferred applicants bring experience in healthcare, electronic health records, or IT support roles.
