Strategic Account Manager – Automotive Electronics
Lead the expansion of specialized adhesive solutions within the evolving automotive electronics sector. This role focuses on shaping and executing account strategies that support sustained growth across global markets. You will work directly with OEMs and Tier-1 partners to understand technical demands and align them with innovative material solutions for systems such as ADAS, infotainment, and electronic control units.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement short- and long-term account plans to protect and scale business with key customers
- Act as the primary liaison between customer requirements and internal technical teams, including R&D, Engineering, and Product Management
- Spend 50% of time acquiring and onboarding new customers, and 20% deepening relationships with existing accounts
- Translate technical challenges into commercial opportunities by understanding automotive electronics applications and system-level integration needs
- Support compliance with industry standards such as ISO and IATF, and contribute to reliability validation processes
Qualifications
- Proven experience in the automotive electronics space, including control modules, driver assistance systems, and in-vehicle infotainment
- Familiarity with automotive quality and reliability frameworks
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation abilities, with fluency in cross-functional, global collaboration
- Valid driver’s license and readiness to travel as needed
Preferred Background
- Degree in a STEM field
- Hands-on knowledge of materials such as conformal coatings, thermal interface materials, potting compounds, underfills, and encapsulants
- Basic understanding of European chemical regulations and contract fundamentals
- Experience in technical sales or account management with negotiation-intensive environments
