This role drives medical strategy for a pioneering continuous glucose monitoring system across the UK North. The Senior Medical Affairs Specialist will cultivate trusted relationships with healthcare professionals, ensuring they have the scientific knowledge and clinical insights needed to integrate advanced monitoring solutions into routine diabetes care.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and sustain scientific partnerships with clinicians and key opinion leaders to support optimal use of CGM technology in practice.
- Deliver targeted, evidence-based education sessions that clarify the clinical benefits and practical applications of continuous glucose monitoring.
- Provide accurate, timely responses to medical inquiries from both healthcare providers and internal stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities for real-world data collection and support initiatives that strengthen the clinical evidence base.
- Stay informed on competitive developments and emerging trends, sharing actionable insights across internal teams.
- Represent the medical team at conferences and scientific meetings, contributing expertise and gathering frontline feedback.
- Work closely with commercial, market access, marketing, and clinical colleagues to align medical initiatives with broader healthcare goals.
Qualifications
Candidates must be based in one of the following cities: Leicester, Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds, Sheffield, Derby, or Nottingham, and have the right to work in the UK. A bachelor’s degree and 5–8 years of relevant experience are required. A background in medical affairs or clinical diabetes care is advantageous.
