Zurich Canada is hiring a Trainee Business Analyst for the Analytics & MIS team at Sabadell Zurich, a joint venture between Banc Sabadell and Zurich. In this role, you will support business products and commercial actions through data extraction, analysis, and reporting.
What You'll Do
- Extract, manipulate, and analyze data, and create periodic reports for monitoring joint venture products.
- Build dashboards for product launches, campaigns, and commercial actions.
- Analyze and alert deviations of key business indicators from established business plans.
- Provide service to different Sabadell Zurich units regarding business or customer information analysis for their functions.
- Conduct sectoral statistics, regulatory statistical information, and perform competitor rankings and analysis.
What We're Looking For
- Ability to establish a university or business school collaboration agreement for a minimum of 6 months.
- Knowledge of main office tools for data processing, especially Excel and Access.
- A service-oriented, organized, proactive, and resourceful person who enjoys teamwork, autonomy, and is accustomed to technology.
- High analytical capacity and high responsibility with the information produced.
Nice to Have
- Experience in a similar position of at least 6 months and a degree in Business, Insurance (Actuarial), and/or Statistics.
- Knowledge of Microstrategy and DataWarehouse, as well as SAS or Power BI.
- Intermediate English level.
