Cargill is hiring a Trade Product Control Analyst for our Energy Optimization Team (EOT). In this role, you will play a key part in managing financial risk—including commodity and foreign exchange exposure—and reporting trading profit and loss. You will partner with stakeholders to deliver accurate controls, compliance, and data, while contributing to process standardization and automation efforts.
What You'll Do
- Complete commodity and foreign exchange position reporting and reconciliation with stakeholders, ensuring significant differences are resolved and communicated.
- Monitor commodity and foreign exchange exposure, complete all financial reporting against deadlines, compare against limits, and escalate breaches.
- Manage reports and reconcile trading profit and loss by line of impact with key stakeholders.
- Support compliance operations and monitor points of control.
- Collaborate with peers to implement process simplification, enhance standardization, optimize reporting, and deliver automation.
- Drive risk management best practices and improvement activities.
- Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of two years of related work experience.
- Strong knowledge with complex Excel formulas.
Nice to Have
- Strong data and analytical skills.
- Experience in finance operations with knowledge of financial risk management and related processes.
- Experience with Power BI, Python, or other technology tools.
- Experience with energy markets.
- Eager to learn and be continuously curious.

Benefits & Compensation
- Salary range: $69,000 - $90,000.
- Comprehensive benefit program, including medical and/or other benefits dependent on position and hours worked.
- Discretionary incentive award dependent upon company and personal performance.

This position offers a hybrid work arrangement based in Wayzata, MN.
