Shape data strategy in a two-sided marketplace by working hand-in-hand with Product, Engineering, and Design teams. You'll define success metrics, interpret user engagement, and evaluate product changes through rigorous analysis and experimentation.
What You’ll Do
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify key business questions and develop analytical frameworks that guide decision-making
- Design, implement, and evaluate A/B tests to measure product impact and inform roadmap priorities
- Build scalable reporting systems and dashboards using BI tools to surface insights across the organization
- Investigate shifts in user behavior and marketplace trends, translating findings into clear, strategic recommendations
- Work closely with data engineers and analysts to strengthen data quality and modeling practices
- Champion data literacy and help embed analytics into everyday workflows across departments
What We’re Looking For
- At least five years of experience in data science or product analytics with a track record of driving business impact
- Advanced proficiency in SQL and experience querying large-scale datasets
- Hands-on experience with Python, R, or similar languages for data analysis
- Familiarity with statistical methods, causal inference, and experiment design in real-world business settings
- Solid experience using Tableau, Looker, or other visualization platforms to communicate insights
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or Engineering
- Ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments and align teams around data-driven goals
Preferred experience includes working in a two-sided marketplace and applying advanced modeling techniques like predictive analytics or causal impact studies.
