Take part in a six-month internship based in Munich, where you'll contribute to real estate, business, and data analytics operations across European markets. This role offers direct involvement in system implementation projects, data management, and automation initiatives that support a large-scale financial platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the deployment of a new treasury management system, including testing configurations, workflows, and reporting outputs
- Assist with integrating banking partners and third-party service providers into existing platforms
- Document functional specifications, system mappings, and operational procedures
- Collaborate with IT and technology teams to resolve technical and data-related issues
- Contribute to the rollout of a new rent roll management system across European offices
- Perform data validation, reconciliation, and anomaly detection to ensure high-quality datasets
- Support reference data maintenance and cleansing efforts across systems
- Identify opportunities to automate repetitive tasks using AI tools and data workflows
- Work with stakeholders to improve data quality processes and implement automated solutions
- Help design and enhance data pipelines, APIs, and system integrations without requiring coding experience
- Test data flows and document integration outcomes
- Build reports and analyses using Power BI to inform business decisions
- Support dashboard development, KPI tracking, and reporting automation
- Deliver ad-hoc analyses based on evolving business needs
Qualifications
You are currently pursuing or have recently completed a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field. You bring strong Excel skills—including lookups and pivot tables—with familiarity in Power Query considered an advantage. Experience with Power BI (basic modeling and visualization) and foundational SQL knowledge for data querying is essential.
A keen interest in financial systems, data platforms, or process automation is important, along with sharp attention to detail and accuracy. You’re proactive, organized, and able to work independently while collaborating across teams. Comfort in engaging with IT professionals, business units, and external vendors is expected. Fluency in English is required, and German language skills are beneficial but not mandatory. You must be authorized to work in Germany for the full duration of the internship and remain based in Munich throughout.
Technology Environment
You'll work with tools including Excel, Power Query, Power BI, SQL, Python, APIs, data pipelines, and emerging AI applications. While coding isn’t required, curiosity and a willingness to learn are highly valued.
