Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end processes for employee absences, including short-term and long-term disability, non-occupational leaves, and workplace injury claims, in coordination with HR, leadership, payroll, and outside providers.
- Keep accurate, confidential records and documentation for all absence-related cases from the start of leave through return-to-work follow-up.
- Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external parties on absence management matters, escalating sensitive or complex issues when necessary.
- Produce regular reports, track patterns in leave data, and recommend improvements to administrative workflows.
- Support the administration and reporting of group benefits and retirement savings plans.
- Oversee tasks related to the long service recognition program.
- Collaborate with the Total Rewards team to update and maintain content on the HR employee portal.
- Answer employee questions and provide guidance on policies, procedures, and reward programs, helping them navigate standard processes.
