Responsibilities
- Develop and implement lesson plans, adjusting them as needed throughout the academic year
- Adapt teaching methods to support varied student learning needs
- Keep thorough and up-to-date records of each student's academic progress and development
- Apply instructional strategies grounded in educational research during daily planning and teaching
- Oversee and guide student conduct within the classroom setting
- Foster an inclusive and encouraging learning atmosphere
- Use approved curricula that acknowledge students' diverse cultural, linguistic, and educational backgrounds
- Enforce established behavioral standards and cultural norms across the school environment
- Engage with families to discuss student academic performance and social-emotional development
- Integrate digital tools and technology into everyday instruction to enhance learning outcomes
- Assist in organizing and carrying out non-academic school activities when required
- Work collaboratively with fellow educators and staff through clear communication
- Complete additional tasks as directed by school administration
