Responsibilities
- Develop and adapt lesson plans throughout the academic year to support student learning
- Adjust teaching strategies to address varied student learning needs and abilities
- Keep thorough and current records of each student's academic progress and development
- Apply teaching methods grounded in educational research during daily instruction
- Establish and maintain appropriate student behavior and classroom discipline
- Foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all students
- Use approved curricula that respects and reflects students' cultural, linguistic, and educational diversity
- Enforce consistent behavioral expectations across school settings
- Engage with families to discuss student academic performance and social-emotional development
- Integrate technology tools into classroom activities to enhance learning outcomes
- Support non-instructional school events and activities as required
- Work collaboratively with fellow educators and staff
- Complete additional tasks assigned by school administration
