As a Licensed Therapist, you will provide specialized, evidence-based care for individuals and families affected by eating disorders through a fully virtual platform. Working within a collaborative care model, you'll deliver individual, family, and group therapy using clinically validated approaches such as Family-Based Treatment (FBT), Enhanced Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT-E), and CBT for ARFID. Your caseload will include patients of all ages and backgrounds, requiring sensitivity to diverse identities and co-occurring conditions.
What You'll Do
- Conduct telehealth sessions using proven therapeutic methods tailored to eating disorders and related mental health concerns.
- Maintain a caseload of 30–40 patients, balancing 20–26 hours of direct clinical care with documentation and team coordination.
- Collaborate regularly with physicians, dietitians, patient mentors, and external providers through integrated care meetings and secure messaging.
- Use clinical assessment tools to diagnose and monitor progress, ensuring treatment aligns with best practices.
- Engage in ongoing supervision, training, and team discussions to support continuous professional development.
- Document care and communicate with the treatment team through the organization’s electronic medical record system.
- Remain available for evening appointments twice per week to accommodate patient needs.
Requirements
- Hold an active, unrestricted license to practice psychotherapy in at least one U.S. state within the Pacific time zone.
- Demonstrate experience delivering care to patients across the lifespan, including those with complex presentations and comorbidities.
- Show commitment to evidence-based practice and virtual care delivery.
- Be available for two evenings per week, with sessions extending until 8 PM in the primary patient time zone.
- Be a collaborative, solutions-oriented clinician dedicated to patient-centered care.
