OpusClip is hiring a Sr. Director of Event Management Operations to lead our client operations, driving innovative and impactful strategies for world-shaping brands. This role will lead and coach the Event Management team, act as a strategic contact for key clients, and design workflows to enhance service delivery.

What You'll Do

Lead and coach Event Management team leads to ensure top-tier client service, providing guidance on performance and development.
Act as a strategic contact for key clients, supporting consistency, service quality, and relationship strength.
Design and implement workflows and processes that enhance service delivery and operational efficiency; monitor KPIs for improvement areas.
Collaborate with Centralized Resourcing on client needs, project staffing, and resource forecasting.
Partner with departments like Accounts & Sales and Agency Alignment to align client operations with business goals; serve on Ways of Working Leadership Team.
Report regularly on performance, client satisfaction, and operational metrics using data to inform strategic recommendations.

What We're Looking For

10-15 years in event planning and execution, experiential marketing, or brand activations.
5-7+ years in agency-side client leadership roles.
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams (account, creative, production) and manage multimillion-dollar event portfolios across diverse industries.
Skilled at maintaining senior client relationships, advising strategically, and managing escalations - especially with C-level clients.
Strong ability to translate client goals into actionable plans, grow accounts, and contribute to renewals and pitches.
Deep knowledge of the full event lifecycle and operational best practices for scale, consistency, and quality.
Expertise in budget management, resource planning, vendor negotiations, and cross-functional team leadership.

Nice to Have

CMP/CSEP certifications.
Account management and experience scaling departments in agency environments.

Team & Environment

You may manage 5-10 direct reports within the Event Management team, ranging from Event Managers to Senior Directors, and you will report to the Event Management Department Head.

Compensation range: $150,000 and $165,000.
