Lyra Health is hiring a Testing Psychologist - Contract (1099) - Puerto Rico

Responsibilities

  • Administer and score psychological tests to assess cognitive, emotional, and behavioral functioning.
  • Provide feedback to clients regarding test results and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop treatment plans.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records.
  • Ensure compliance with ethical and legal standards in psychological testing.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
  • Conduct psychological assessments for a diverse client population.
  • Develop and implement testing protocols tailored to individual client needs.
  • Consult with other healthcare providers to integrate testing results into overall care plans.
  • Provide culturally sensitive and inclusive psychological services.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of testing and treatment interventions.
  • Document all testing procedures and outcomes in client files.
  • Adhere to confidentiality and privacy regulations.
  • Engage in regular supervision and peer consultation.
  • Stay current with the latest research and best practices in psychological testing.
  • Provide support and guidance to clients and their families.
  • Coordinate with community resources to enhance client care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
  • Contribute to the development of new testing protocols and tools.
  • Ensure that testing environments are conducive to accurate and reliable results.
  • Provide training and supervision to junior staff or trainees.
  • Assist in the development of educational materials and resources for clients.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary case conferences and meetings.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in telehealth or remote psychological testing.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
  • Experience in working with trauma-informed care principles.
  • Familiarity with evidence-based treatment approaches.
  • Experience in conducting neuropsychological assessments.
  • Knowledge of cultural competency in psychological testing.
  • Experience in providing psychological services in community settings.
  • Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
