CEL Critical Power is hiring a Test Technician

About the Role

The technician will carry out test procedures on power system components, document results, troubleshoot issues, and support quality assurance throughout the production cycle.

Responsibilities

  • Execute electrical and functional tests on power system units
  • Follow documented test plans and procedures accurately
  • Record test data with precision and consistency
  • Identify and report anomalies during testing
  • Collaborate with engineering staff to resolve test failures
  • Maintain calibrated test equipment according to schedule
  • Assemble test setups using schematics and work instructions
  • Verify system performance against technical specifications
  • Support root cause analysis for failed units
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
  • Prepare units for environmental and stress testing
  • Operate data acquisition systems during test cycles
  • Monitor tests in real time and respond to irregularities
  • Generate test reports for internal review
  • Track test progress using internal tracking tools
  • Handle sensitive components with ESD precautions
  • Participate in continuous improvement of test processes
  • Escalate technical issues to lead engineers promptly
  • Maintain clean and organized test areas
  • Support final quality verification before shipment
  • Follow change control procedures during test updates
  • Assist in validating new test equipment
  • Work cross-functionally with production and design teams
  • Adhere to documentation control standards
  • Maintain accurate logs for audit readiness

Physical Requirements
