About the Role
The technician will carry out test procedures on power system components, document results, troubleshoot issues, and support quality assurance throughout the production cycle.
Responsibilities
- Execute electrical and functional tests on power system units
- Follow documented test plans and procedures accurately
- Record test data with precision and consistency
- Identify and report anomalies during testing
- Collaborate with engineering staff to resolve test failures
- Maintain calibrated test equipment according to schedule
- Assemble test setups using schematics and work instructions
- Verify system performance against technical specifications
- Support root cause analysis for failed units
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
- Prepare units for environmental and stress testing
- Operate data acquisition systems during test cycles
- Monitor tests in real time and respond to irregularities
- Generate test reports for internal review
- Track test progress using internal tracking tools
- Handle sensitive components with ESD precautions
- Participate in continuous improvement of test processes
- Escalate technical issues to lead engineers promptly
- Maintain clean and organized test areas
- Support final quality verification before shipment
- Follow change control procedures during test updates
- Assist in validating new test equipment
- Work cross-functionally with production and design teams
- Adhere to documentation control standards
- Maintain accurate logs for audit readiness
