Dexcom Corporation is seeking a Territory Sales Specialist to lead field engagement and drive the adoption of our medical devices in Japan. In this high-visibility role, you will be responsible for engaging with healthcare professionals across diverse settings, developing strategies to influence prescription behavior, and contributing directly to patient growth.
What You'll Do
- Represent the medical device portfolio to healthcare professionals across Japan.
- Drive product adoption, educate HCPs, and support clinical integration across hospitals, clinics, and community settings.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop key stakeholders and promote brand penetration.
- Execute national brand strategies and a nationwide field event strategy.
- Support regional event strategies and improve execution in collaboration with marketing.
- Lead projects required to grow sales and relationships with a strong emphasis on diabetes care.
- Set quarterly sales touch points with each region to ensure consistent engagement.
- Serve as a key speaking partner for legal, event management, and regional responsibilities.
- Improve invitation and communication processes in collaboration with marketing.
- Use professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues creatively.
- Develop proficiency in the company's business to inform strategic decisions.
- Determine how to use resources to meet objectives, schedules, and goals.
- Provide guidance to team members using established company policies.
- Frequently interact with subordinate supervisors, customers, and functional peer members.
- Work on issues of diverse scope requiring evaluation of a variety of factors.
- Follow processes and policies in selecting methods for obtaining solutions.
- Build strong relationships with endocrinologists, diabetes educators, and other HCPs.
- Deliver compelling product education and training to ensure confident device use.
- Represent the company at diabetes-related events, trade shows, and professional forums.
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams to support territory growth and strategy alignment.
What We're Looking For
- Proven ability to educate and influence healthcare professionals.
- Familiarity with the Japanese healthcare system.
- Native-level Japanese proficiency.
Nice to Have
- 2 years of sales experience in medical devices or pharmaceuticals.
- English proficiency.
Team & Environment
You will collaborate closely with the sales team, including the Regional Sales Manager and other Sales Team members.
Work Mode
This role is based locally in Japan.
