About the Role
The Territory Sales Specialist is responsible for promoting and selling a medical device solution to healthcare providers within an assigned geographic area through consultative selling techniques and relationship development.
Responsibilities
- Identify and target key healthcare providers and clinics for product adoption
- Conduct in-person sales calls to introduce and demonstrate product benefits
- Educate clinicians on clinical data and patient outcomes associated with the technology
- Build and maintain strong relationships with physicians, nurses, and office staff
- Collaborate with regional team members to execute market strategies
- Respond to inquiries regarding product features, insurance coverage, and access
- Track and report sales activities and customer interactions using CRM tools
- Achieve quarterly and annual sales goals within the assigned territory
- Stay current on diabetes management trends and competitive landscape
- Coordinate with distribution partners to ensure patient access
- Facilitate patient onboarding in coordination with clinical support teams
- Attend local medical conferences and educational events
- Advocate for patient needs within the commercial organization
- Gather market feedback and share insights with leadership
- Support payer access initiatives in collaboration with reimbursement specialists
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory and corporate policies
- Deliver product training to new accounts
- Monitor territory performance metrics and adjust strategies accordingly
- Develop territory business plans aligned with regional objectives
- Work cross-functionally with marketing and operations teams
- Ensure accurate forecasting and pipeline reporting
- Promote brand integrity through professional representation
- Drive patient starts through effective provider engagement
- Utilize data to identify growth opportunities
- Manage administrative tasks including travel and expense reporting
