About the Role

Vergölst GmbH is hiring a Territory Sales Manager to expand our industrial products market share in Texas. You'll be responsible for developing new business and growing existing accounts by leveraging Continental’s Authorized Distributor Network, requiring significant travel and customer engagement.

What You'll Do

  • Identify and cultivate new business partnerships with distributors and end-users to achieve growth targets.
  • Promote and sell engineered products, programs, and services through the authorized distributor network.
  • Train distributors and end-users on new products and applications.
  • Develop and implement a plan for regular customer meetings to service accounts and secure new business.
  • Participate in industry trade shows to promote products and services.
  • Use business and IT tools to manage territory activities effectively.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of current industry standards.
  • Inspect conveyor systems and plant equipment in manufacturing environments to survey and offer solutions.
  • Utilize Salesforce.com, Business Funnel, and other data tools to drive financial performance.
  • Travel at least 50% of the time with overnight stays.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field, or 4 years of Sales experience in lieu of a degree.
  • 2 years of relevant Sales experience.
  • Competent in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
  • Experience working in an industrial setting.
  • Experience with conducting presentations and customer meetings.
  • Experience in training customers and end users.
  • Ability to use and learn CRM systems.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Required to reside within the Texas territory.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. No visa sponsorship is available.
  • Must be able to work in close quarters and at heights.

Work Mode

This is a remote position, but the successful candidate must reside within the state of Texas.
