About the Role
A strategic sales leader responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding market presence across western India through expert relationship management and data-driven decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Achieve annual revenue targets exceeding USD 1 million through strategic selling of centrifugation, flow cytometry, and life science automation solutions
- Lead capital equipment sales exceeding INR 1 crore per tender with a focus on competitive bidding processes
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including referral laboratories, centers of excellence, and key opinion leaders
- Demonstrate strong initiative and motivation to independently drive sales performance
- Utilize proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, along with basic Adobe skills for reporting and presentations
- Communicate effectively in writing and verbally with clients, partners, and internal teams
- Apply data analytics and CRM insights to uncover growth potential, monitor account progress, and guide sales strategies
- Ensure accurate monthly sales forecasting and accountability to meet annual business objectives
Requirements
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities
- Proficiency in MS Office applications such as Excel and PowerPoint, with basic knowledge of Adobe tools
- Proactive and self-driven work ethic
Nice to Have
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in a scientific field such as biotechnology, biochemistry, microbiology, life sciences, or genetics
- 10 to 12 years of sales experience in the life sciences or biotechnology sector, with a track record in hardware sales generating at least USD 1 million in revenue
- Extensive experience managing tender-based sales and coordinating with regional channel partners
- Solid expertise in Salesforce or similar CRM platforms to manage sales pipelines and leverage data analytics for strategic planning
