As a Territory Manager in the West, you will drive the development and adoption of Central Sleep Apnea (CSA) programs within hospital systems, sleep centers, and specialty clinics. Your primary focus will be building relationships with key stakeholders—including Heart Failure Specialists, Electrophysiologists, and Sleep Physicians—to identify unmet clinical needs and implement effective therapy pathways.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish new CSA programs by engaging multidisciplinary medical teams and integrating therapy solutions into clinical workflows
- Conduct in-person and virtual meetings with physicians, administrators, and reimbursement specialists to assess care goals and operational constraints
- Deliver clinical training on CSA prevalence, patient screening protocols, and therapy titration to ensure optimal outcomes
- Support device implants in lab and surgical settings, and follow up with patients to ensure successful therapy adoption
- Lead value-based discussions with economic decision-makers, demonstrating financial and clinical benefits of therapy adoption
- Identify and cultivate relationships with key influencers and decision-makers across departments
- Exceed quarterly sales targets tied to program launches, screenings, and implant volumes
- Maintain compliance with vendor credentialing and regulatory standards for hospital access
- Manage company resources in alignment with policies and industry regulations
- Provide after-hours support when necessary to meet customer or operational needs
Qualifications
Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and bring at least five years of proven success in medical sales with a track record in program development. Experience in medical devices or clinical environments is highly valued. Individuals with two or more years in related fields may qualify for an Associate Territory Manager role with a defined growth path.
Compensation & Work Environment
This is a remote, field-based position requiring 30–50% travel across the West territory, including key medical centers. The role offers a $120,000 base salary with monthly commissions, leading to an at-plan total compensation of approximately $250,000 annually. A guaranteed commission period supports initial ramp-up.
