About the Role

DIFS Donaldson India Filter Systems Pvt Ltd is hiring a Territory Manager to drive growth for our Engine Aftermarket business in Kolkata. You will be responsible for sales revenue generation, new business development, and distributor management in a role focused on strategic planning and customer relationship management.

What You'll Do

  • Achieve territory sales revenue targets and develop new business.
  • Coach, lead, and develop Distributors and DSRs.
  • Handle distribution, including Key Account Management for the Engine Aftermarket business.
  • Maintain strong customer relationships and update the Relationship Matrix.
  • Generate leads, cover opportunities, and maintain a healthy pipeline in the CRM.
  • Collect and analyze market information on competitors.
  • Work closely with customer support and the distribution office.
  • Implement and monitor sales policy, providing secondary sales support.
  • Coordinate for SLOB reduction, inventory planning, and forecast reviews.
  • Generate MIS and sales data, conduct trend analysis, and maintain customer folders and presentations.
  • Actively participate in strategic business planning and budgeting.
  • Lead sales and brand promotion activities, including sales schemes, campaigns, exhibitions, and tech seminars.
  • Coordinate with Customer Support, Demand Planning, and PPC on forecasting and on-time delivery to achieve customer satisfaction.

What We're Looking For

  • A B.E. (Mechanical) degree.
  • 10-15 years of overall experience in the Engine aftermarket (Off-road/On Road).
  • Ability to interact effectively at all customer levels.
  • Strong commercial acumen and experience in Channel or Retail sales.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to successfully negotiate with customers at all management levels.
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage large distribution houses, and meet preset goals.
  • Experience handling Channel or Distribution sales in Mining, Infrastructure/Earthmoving, or Automotive industries, preferably from Bearing, Industrial oil, Hoses, Filter, or other component industries or OES sales.
  • Willingness to travel 50% of the time.
  • Proficiency in English and Hindi.

Nice to Have

  • An MBA degree.
  • Proficiency in the Bengali language.

Work Mode

This role is based in Kolkata and operates in a local-city work mode.
