Role OverviewAs a Territory Manager based in New Haven, Connecticut, you'll play a key role in advancing diabetes care by collaborating with a Clinical Diabetes Sales Specialist to introduce innovative insulin pump technology to providers and patients. This field-focused position blends strategic planning with relationship development to grow market presence and improve patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with clinical colleagues to engage healthcare professionals and expand adoption of advanced diabetes therapy solutions
- Develop and execute territory strategies that identify new opportunities and strengthen provider partnerships
- Build trusted relationships with physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and certified diabetes educators
- Deliver product training and ongoing support to clinical teams and patients
- Apply proven sales methodologies, including the Challenger Selling Model and Strategic Account Management, to drive results
- Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and local outreach initiatives
- Maintain accurate records in CRM systems and submit timely reports
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless customer experiences
- Ensure all activities comply with regulatory standards, including HIPAA and company policies
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
- Minimum of three years in sales within the medical device, diabetes, endocrinology, or managed care space
- Proven success in achieving or exceeding sales targets
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel up to 80% within the territory
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving abilities
- Adaptability to a fast-changing healthcare environment
Technical Experience
- Familiarity with CRM platforms
- Experience applying advanced sales frameworks such as the Challenger Selling Model and Strategic Account Management
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary range of $91,890 to $112,310 annually, with a target total earning potential of $166,890 to $187,310. Benefits include comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage; health and flexible savings accounts; 401(k) with company match; 11 paid holidays; and at least 20 days of paid time off starting in year one.
Work Environment
This is a local, field-based position requiring up to 80% travel within the New Haven territory. You’ll operate independently while staying closely connected to your team and clinical partners.
