Bausch + Lomb is hiring a Territory Manager to promote and sell our contact lens portfolio on the Gold Coast. This professional sales role partners with Independent and Key Account Optometrists to achieve sales targets and deliver customer value through product solutions. What You'll Do
- Promote and sell the Bausch + Lomb contact lens portfolio by directly liaising with customers at all levels within optometry practices.
- Achieve sales target for your designated territory.
- Manage your territory based on the evaluation of current and potential commercial customer value.
- Build customer business plans to deliver customer value.
- Analyze sales trends and, in consultation with sales leadership, adjust activities to achieve planned objectives.
- Deliver relevant product marketing messages, overcome objections, perform side-by-side comparative selling, and take direct customer orders.
- Allocate and place point-of-sale material appropriately to support sales and marketing objectives.
- Provide field clinical support in your designated territory.
- Represent Bausch + Lomb by attending meetings, trade displays, and conferences to maintain and expand the company’s customer base.
- Manage the territory effectively with cost-effective travel, time, and expense management to optimize key customer contacts.
- Plan and record sales activities and customer feedback through the customer relationship management system, Veeva.
What We're Looking For
- A proven track record of successful B2B sales experience in medical device or healthcare sales (minimum 3 years).
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and exhibit a positive, constructive attitude.
- Demonstrated negotiation and influencing skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to anticipate, understand, prioritize, and meet customer needs.
- Strong interpersonal, teamwork, and workload planning skills.
- High aptitude for financial analysis and assimilation of complex information.
- Able to effectively utilize the Microsoft Office suite and standard digital technology tools.
- Demonstrated experience achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual sales budgets.
- Possession of a motor vehicle and a valid driver's license.
- Ability to do regional travel.
- Availability for occasional work outside of business hours to attend meetings, trade shows, or conferences.
