Dexcom Corporation is looking for a Territory Business Manager to lead the promotion of our medical devices across Japan. You will be an individual contributor with high visibility, engaging healthcare professionals in hospitals, clinics, and community settings to drive product adoption, educate, and support clinical integration.
What You'll Do
- Collaborate with the sales team, including the Regional Sales Manager and other Territory Business Managers, to develop key stakeholders and promote brand penetration.
- Build strong relationships with endocrinologists, diabetes nurse educators, and other HCPs to drive product awareness and prescription behavior.
- Execute brand strategies and a nationwide field event strategy while supporting and improving regional event execution.
- Deliver compelling product education and training to HCPs, ensuring confident and effective use of our medical devices.
- Represent the company at diabetes-related events, trade shows, and professional forums to promote our mission and solutions.
- Lead projects at every center required to grow sales and relationships, with a strong emphasis on diabetes care.
- Set quarterly sales touch points with each region to ensure consistent engagement and growth.
- Serve as a key speaking partner for legal, event management, and regional responsibilities.
- Improve invitation and communication processes in collaboration with marketing.
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams to support territory growth and ensure alignment on messaging and strategy.
- Use professional concepts and company knowledge to resolve complex issues creatively.
- Receive assignments in the form of objectives and determine how to use resources to meet schedules and goals.
- Provide guidance to team members using established company policies.
- Frequently interact with subordinate supervisors, customers, and functional peer group members.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 5 years of sales experience in medical devices or pharmaceuticals.
- Proven ability to educate and influence healthcare professionals.
- Familiarity with the Japanese healthcare system.
- Native-level Japanese proficiency.
Nice to Have
- English proficiency is a plus.
Team & Environment
This is an individual contributor role collaborating closely with a sales team, including a Regional Sales Manager and other Territory Business Managers.
Work Mode
This is a local-country position located in Japan.
