About the Role
This role is responsible for expanding market presence through strategic account management and new business development within an assigned geography, primarily engaging physicians, pathologists, and laboratory decision-makers to support patient care through advanced genomic testing.
Responsibilities
- Identify and target high-potential oncology practices and medical institutions
- Conduct in-person and virtual presentations to clinicians and lab staff
- Educate healthcare professionals on test offerings and clinical applications
- Build long-term relationships with key decision-makers
- Collaborate with medical affairs and technical teams to address client inquiries
- Track and report sales activities and market intelligence
- Meet or exceed quarterly sales targets
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of oncology diagnostics and industry trends
- Coordinate with operations to ensure smooth onboarding of new clients
- Participate in regional and national sales meetings
- Respond to requests for proposal and contract negotiations
- Support marketing initiatives tailored to the region
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and corporate policies
- Manage territory using CRM tools and sales forecasting systems
- Advocate for customer needs internally
