This role centers on direct field engagement, where success is measured by consistent quota achievement and deepening relationships in strategic verticals including rail, defense, telecom, and test and measurement.
What You'll Do
Travel frequently to meet clients on-site, often outside standard hours, to understand technical needs and position solutions effectively. Own the sales cycle within your territory, from lead generation to closing, using Salesforce to track and manage every opportunity. Partner closely with account managers and support teams to deliver accurate pre-sales guidance and ensure seamless handoffs.
Develop trust with both end users and distribution partners, identifying market trends and converting insights into actionable sales strategies. Maintain a balanced pipeline that reflects both immediate and long-term business goals, ensuring sustainable revenue growth.
Requirements
- Formal technical education or equivalent practical background
- Valid driver’s license with readiness for regular regional travel
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken
- Proven ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively across cultures
- Strong presentation skills with confidence in articulating technical value
- Experience managing customer data in Salesforce or similar CRM platforms
- Self-driven approach with accountability for sales performance
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in electrical engineering or related discipline
