About the Role

Cloudflare is seeking a Territory Account Executive to drive sales in Japan, focusing on Small and Mid-sized companies and channel partners. This role is central to executing Cloudflare's mission to help build a better, more secure Internet by delivering exceptional value to customers and partners.

What You'll Do

  • Drive sales in Japan to achieve revenue targets
  • Develop and execute upon Sales strategy/plan for Japan
  • Create & articulate compelling value propositions for Cloudflare services
  • Manage contract negotiations
  • Maintain a robust sales pipeline
  • Recruit, develop and work with partners to extend reach & drive adoption
  • Ensure customer satisfaction
  • Travel to territories as required (less than 60% travel)

What We're Looking For

  • At least 10 years of Territory/Enterprise Sales experience
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Fluent in Japanese and English
  • Direct experience selling network security or SaaS
  • Direct experience selling to enterprise accounts acting as lead seller and relationship owner
  • Strong presentation and interpersonal communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Organizational skills

Nice to Have

  • Technical background in engineering, computer science, or MIS
  • Basic understanding of computer networking and 'how the internet works'

  • Working hours: 9am to 6pm with rest period from noon to 1pm
