About the Role
This role is responsible for acquiring new clients within a defined geographic territory through proactive outreach, needs assessment, and solution positioning. The individual will manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract execution.
Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within an assigned territory
- Conduct outreach to potential clients via phone, email, and in-person meetings
- Build relationships with decision-makers to understand business needs
- Deliver product demonstrations tailored to client requirements
- Negotiate terms and close sales agreements
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions in CRM system
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Stay informed about market trends and competitive landscape
- Provide feedback to product and marketing teams based on customer insights
- Develop strategic account plans for high-potential prospects
- Follow up on inbound leads generated by marketing campaigns
- Participate in industry events and networking opportunities
- Coordinate with customer success to ensure post-sale satisfaction
- Track performance metrics and report on sales activity
- Adapt communication style to suit different client personas
- Use data to prioritize high-value prospects
- Respond to client inquiries within established service timelines
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product features and updates
- Escalate technical or operational issues to appropriate departments
- Support pricing and contracting processes
- Align sales approach with company compliance standards
- Contribute to team knowledge sharing sessions
- Assist in refining sales playbooks based on field experience
- Drive adoption of best practices in field sales execution
Compensation
Competitive base salary plus uncapped commission structure
