The Town of Greenwich, CT is seeking a Tennis Instructor to deliver engaging tennis lessons to children and adults. You will teach according to lesson plans developed by the Tennis Director, ensure a safe and welcoming environment, and represent our community values.
What You'll Do
- Teach tennis lessons to children and adults in accordance with lesson plans developed by the Tennis Director.
- Take attendance of all participants each day.
- Ensure all tennis supplies needed for the lesson are prepared before class begins.
- Answer questions from participants or parents before or after class.
- Complete and submit all accident reports to the Tennis Director.
- Maintain a good rapport with the community, other staff, and the Tennis Director.
- Check courts daily for hazards and report any problems to the Tennis Director.
What We're Looking For
- Must be at least 15 years of age.
- Must enjoy working with the public.
- Must be CPR and First Aid Certified.
- Subject to a background check.
- Must be proficient at playing tennis.
Team & Environment
You will report directly to the Tennis Director.
Work Mode
This role is fully onsite at our facilities in Greenwich, CT.
