What You'll Do
Take ownership of the inquiry-to-order (ITO) process for pressure pumping tenders, guiding each opportunity from initial request to final submission. Develop and execute commercial strategies that align with regional and segment objectives, ensuring proposals deliver strong profitability and minimal risk.
Lead the creation of technically sound and commercially competitive offers by gathering input on capacity, cost, and pricing. Conduct detailed analysis of terms, technical risks, margins, and payment security to validate the balance of reward and exposure. Drive pricing granularity within established frameworks, with limited flexibility to adjust conditions based on market dynamics.
Negotiate directly with customers and coordinate with sales, technical, and commercial teams to ensure alignment. Support cross-functional opportunities and contribute to pricing benchmarking initiatives across product lines. Ensure seamless handover from tendering to execution, upholding commitments made during bidding.
Conduct after-action reviews on lost strategic deals, share insights, and implement improvements. Promote standardized processes, knowledge sharing, and simplified contractual responses through customer intimacy and best practices.
Requirements
Hold a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution and bring at least five years of experience in sales or commercial roles, along with five years of technical or operational background in pressure pumping disciplines such as cementing, coiled tubing, or drilling fluids.
Demonstrate proven ability in managing the full ITO lifecycle, project execution, and P&L accountability. You must have strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with experience using commercial tools like Deal Machine, Quote Machine, or CPQ systems for margin and pricing control.
Be fluent in Azerbaijani, with upper-intermediate proficiency in English and Russian. You should also have a track record of leading medium-to-large-scale projects, influencing cross-functional teams, and operating effectively in structured commercial environments. Willingness and ability to travel up to 20% of the time is required.
