About the Role
This position is responsible for managing end-to-end recruitment processes for various roles, including job posting, resume review, candidate communication, interview coordination, and offer support, while maintaining accurate records and promoting an inclusive hiring culture.
Responsibilities
- Source and attract qualified candidates through job boards, social media, and professional networks
- Review resumes and applications to identify suitable candidates
- Conduct initial phone screenings to assess candidate fit
- Coordinate interview schedules with hiring managers and candidates
- Maintain up-to-date candidate records in the applicant tracking system
- Communicate regularly with candidates to provide status updates
- Support hiring teams with interview preparation and feedback collection
- Assist in drafting job descriptions and posting them to relevant platforms
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies
- Promote a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process
- Participate in recruitment-related meetings and planning sessions
- Track key recruitment metrics and report on performance
- Collaborate with HR on onboarding documentation and processes
- Identify opportunities to improve recruitment efficiency
- Represent the organization at career fairs or networking events as needed
- Conduct reference checks and pre-employment screenings
- Ensure diversity and inclusion principles are applied in hiring practices
- Manage multiple roles and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Provide administrative support to the talent acquisition team as required
- Maintain confidentiality of candidate and employee information
Nice to Have
- Certification in Human Resources or Recruitment
- Experience using Greenhouse or similar ATS platforms
- Background in healthcare or social services recruitment
- Bilingual communication skills
- Prior work in a temporary or project-based role
Compensation
Hourly rate commensurate with experience
