About the Role
The technician will travel to various sites to deploy, service, and repair animatronic displays, performing diagnostics, preventive maintenance, and repairs as needed to support operational continuity.
Responsibilities
- Travel to assigned retail locations across Palm Bay, Coral Springs, and Pompano Beach
- Install animatronic figures according to technical specifications
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical malfunctions in animatronic systems
- Perform routine maintenance to prevent operational failures
- Repair or replace defective components in animatronic units
- Test system functionality after servicing or installation
- Document service activities and repair logs
- Follow safety protocols when handling electrical and mechanical systems
- Respond to emergency service requests as needed
- Collaborate with site managers during installation and repair
- Ensure all animatronic units meet performance standards
- Troubleshoot audio-visual integration issues
- Calibrate motion controls and sensors
- Adhere to scheduled maintenance timelines
- Use hand and power tools to assemble and disassemble units
- Interpret technical schematics and diagrams
- Maintain inventory of spare parts and tools
- Communicate service status updates to supervisors
- Follow manufacturer guidelines for servicing equipment
- Minimize downtime during repairs
- Support seasonal or promotional display rollouts
- Ensure compliance with equipment safety codes
- Lift and move heavy equipment as required
- Work independently in remote locations
- Adapt to changing service priorities
