Handshake is seeking experienced Telephone Operators for a temporary contract role as AI Trainers. In this flexible, remote project, you will apply your professional expertise to help evaluate and improve AI models by assessing content and responses related to your field. The work is asynchronous and offers flexible hours with no minimum commitment.
What You'll Do
- Develop prompts for AI models that reflect your field of work.
- Evaluate AI model responses to prompts.
- Assess content related to your field of work.
- Deliver clear, structured feedback to strengthen AI models' understanding of workplace tasks and language.
What We're Looking For
- At least 4 years of professional experience as a telephone operator or in a related role.
- Professional experience with responsibilities such as operating telephone switchboards and systems, observing signal lights, and making connections.
- Experience with tasks like listening to customer requests, using directories to provide information, and updating directory information.
- Experience performing clerical duties such as typing, proofreading, and sorting mail.
- Experience providing special assistance (e.g., to persons unable to dial, in emergency situations, or who are deaf/hard of hearing).
- Experience operating paging systems or other notification systems.
- Experience monitoring automated systems and intervening for callers needing assistance.
- Experience keeping records of calls and toll charges.
- Ability to participate in asynchronous work.
