Lola Blankets, a fast-growing U.S.-based telehealth startup, seeks a Telehealth Physician (MD/DO) specializing in weight management and metabolic health. You will provide evidence-based care through virtual consultations, determining medical necessity, prescribing treatment, and ensuring positive patient outcomes.
What You'll Do
- Conduct synchronous and asynchronous virtual patient consultations.
- Evaluate patient medical histories and relevant diagnostic data.
- Prescribe treatment in accordance with state and federal regulations.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Document all clinical encounters accurately within the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Maintain compliance with all telehealth, prescribing, and documentation standards.
- Collaborate with care coordination teams to support positive patient outcomes.
- Participate as an active clinical member of LumiMeds’ PC group.
What We're Looking For
- MD or DO with an active, unrestricted U.S. medical license.
- Board-certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
- Active licensure in 30+ U.S. states.
- Eligible and compliant to practice telemedicine in all licensed states.
- Active DEA registration (multi-state preferred).
- Strong understanding of evidence-based weight management and metabolic health.
Nice to Have
- Prior telehealth experience.
- Experience treating obesity, metabolic syndrome, or GLP-1–based therapies.
- Comfortable working within structured, compliance-forward telehealth workflows.
