At Scout Motors, we are seeking an Accounts Payable Analyst to ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments. You will be a pivotal part of our financial operations, managing the full accounts payable cycle and supporting compliance with internal controls.
What You'll Do
- Process invoices accurately and in a timely manner
- Review invoices for proper approval and supporting documentation
- Match invoices with purchase orders and contracts
- Prepare and execute payment runs
- Maintain vendor accounts and resolve discrepancies or payment issues
- Reconcile accounts payable ledger to general ledger
- Support month end and year end closing processes
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and financial controls
- Assist with audit requests and provide required documentation
- Continuously improve AP processes and documentation
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field
- 2 to 4 years of experience in Accounts Payable or a similar finance role
- Strong understanding of accounting principles
- Experience in administrative and accounting processes, including journal entries, accruals, provisions, reconciliations, and month-end closing processes
- Experience working with ERP systems
- Proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Intermediate/Advanced written and verbal English
- Strong interpersonal skills and team-oriented mindset, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments
Nice to Have
- Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics
- Spanish proficiency is a strong advantage, as the accounting team primarily communicates in Spanish
- Experience working in an international or remote environment
- Experience with crypto or fintech companies
