Responsibilities
- Carry out installation activities in accordance with Telco Standard TP76300 and provide effective supervision to team members.
- Show proficiency in deploying AC/DC power systems, fiber optic systems, central office setups, and alarm configurations.
- Oversee installation projects using equipment from manufacturers including Ciena, Fujitsu, Cisco, Nortel, Nokia, DELL, and Juniper.
- Utilize comprehensive understanding of fiber installation standards and correct procedures.
- Accurately interpret and follow Method of Procedures, work orders, and installation documentation.
- Communicate professionally with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure project completion.
- Conduct system testing, including activation and integration processes as needed.
- Supervise and mentor junior installers and technicians in performing their responsibilities.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, safety guidelines, and administrative requirements.
- Perform quality inspections on active and finished projects to meet industry and client expectations.
- Produce Method of Procedures, high-risk activity documentation, work schedules, and project status reports.
