About the Role

Jobgether is hiring a Telecom Engineer IV to manage and optimize our complex telecommunications systems in a remote capacity. This hands-on technical role supports both contact center operations and enterprise infrastructure, focusing on system reliability, security, and performance while implementing cost-effective solutions.

What You'll Do

  • Maintain and optimize telecommunication systems, including contact center infrastructure such as Five9 Virtual Call Center (VCC), Avaya CM/CMS, Avaya AEP, Oracle, SBCs, IVR, and call recording systems.
  • Track telecom invoices, pricing, and billing while supporting Communications-as-a-Service (CaaS) platforms.
  • Collaborate with network, server, and cross-functional teams to provision infrastructure and integrate telecom systems.
  • Participate in telecom projects, new initiatives, and vendor interactions with carriers like AT&T, Century Link, and Masergy.
  • Implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans, performing regular tests and updates.
  • Monitor system performance continuously, identify inefficiencies, and implement optimization strategies.
  • Establish quality assurance processes, including call monitoring, metric analysis, and coaching to enhance customer service.

What We're Looking For

  • 7+ years of experience in telecommunications engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of telecom systems, contact center technologies, and industry processes.
  • Familiarity with Avaya, Oracle CLI interfaces, and Five9 VCC.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, independently or as part of a team.
  • Excellent organizational, coordination, and analytical skills.

Nice to Have

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related discipline.
