Jobgether is looking for a Senior Software Engineering Educator to play a critical role in shaping the skills and development of our software engineers. You will combine hands-on experience with structured mentorship to design, implement, and iterate on high-impact training initiatives.
What You'll Do
- Develop and launch mentorship-focused initiatives for senior software engineers, from pilot programs to full-scale rollout.
- Integrate AI best practices into coaching materials to enhance engineering excellence.
- Manage operational tasks to drive adoption, including scheduling, facilitation, follow-ups, and feedback iteration.
- Collaborate with training team members and cross-functional partners to expand skill acquisition efforts across the organization.
- Convert passive instructional content into active, exercise-centric learning experiences.
- Provide actionable, direct, and supportive feedback to mentees and engineering peers.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with demonstrated mentoring of peers.
- Proven track record of shipping high-quality software in startup or fast-paced environments.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to give constructive and actionable feedback.
- Ability to translate vague or complex goals into repeatable, effective learning programs.
- Deep understanding of engineering craftsmanship, code quality, and AI-informed development practices.
- Experience designing active learning exercises and practical training resources.
- Comfortable balancing 1:1 mentoring with organization-wide program management.
- Passion for fostering growth and skills development in engineering teams.
